Right after the Christmas holidays, all IOM students had the opportunity to show off their excellent English skills to two British ladies. The TV station visits fewer than ten schools in Saxony each year and produces a TV commercial with different grade levels in a small workshop. During the discussion, everyone developed ideas together about careers in television. Many questions arose, as every child is really interested in how TV works. Later, roles were assigned on set and short scenes were filmed. Such an exciting day leaves a lasting impression on everyone, and without really noticing it, everyone became active in English and was able to understand it wonderfully. Maybe someone will actually make it into a movie one day? We were able to discover some new talents for our GTA theater. A great achievement – also for the tenth graders, who will soon be taking their oral English exams. We could only be proud of what our students have already achieved and how well everyone worked together.
