Our Christmas Project Days
On 19 and 20.12.2022 there were exciting projects at the International Secondary School Meerane. We had the opportunity to try our hand at building burgers or to get a taste of theater. Furthermore, we learned interesting facts about the Christmas tradition in Spain and cooked a Spanish menu. Prueba de alarma
Today on 08.12.2022 the students of class 9 in Spanish class were allowed to get out their cell phones. The reason was the nationwide warning day. We wanted to check if it was working. Lo and behold, 10:59 a.m. the alarm went off. After all the cell phones were stowed away again, ESPAÑOL was learned again.
Taster afternoon
On Thursday, 24.11.2022, interested fourth graders could drop by the International Secondary School Meerane for a taster session. During baking, handicrafts and games they could get a first impression of our school. The parents were informed at the parents' evening and could ask questions afterwards. Now we are excited to see which students we can welcome in the new [...].

History up close Our 5th graders spent an exciting day at the "SMAC Museum Chemnitz" on November 9, 2022 and learned a lot about the Neolithic Age in Saxony. Of course, it wasn't just theory: the pupils diligently tried their hand at spinning wool. We would like to thank the staff for the wide range of activities on offer.
Halloween
Led by our 9th graders, our first official IOM Halloween Day took place on Friday (October 14, 2022). The last day before the October vacations should be an experience for everyone. Little surprises for all the witches, castle ghosts and skeletons made sure of that. The three most beautiful costumes were also awarded a prize.
