Colorful plants

In the two project days before the Christmas vacations, we first looked at small experiments to find out why dyes have a certain color and how other colors can be mixed from the three basic colors red, blue and yellow. We also saw that several dyes are usually mixed in felt-tip pens. On the second day, we then isolated the dyes from the leaves and flowers of plants.
