Do it yourself - How an instrument works

After the vacations, we once again saw our creative Year 5 pupils learning about instruments in music. After they had learned how a sound is actually created and how we can hear it, all the children set about making their own instrument of choice. Upcycling was an important idea here - it also had to SOUND, BE DURABLE and LOOK GOOD! It was a complete success, some of which we were also able to exhibit at the open day. From large "rain pipe drums" and "Pringels rainmakers" to wooden guitars with real pickups, everything was there. A really successful project - of course we also tested the functionality during rhythm exercises. You can see how proud you are when you get to play your own instrument.

Last but not least, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the helping grandparents and parents who helped so much and for whom we were unfortunately unable to give a grade A+ 😊. Thank you!
