The IOM's BO days continue to grow! Last school year, our seventh graders had the opportunity to visit three companies and get to know different professional fields. This school year, there are already four companies - and thus up to 14 occupational fields that have been made tangible.
Our pupils in Years 7a and 7b were not only able to take part in company tours, but also get hands-on experience themselves. The spectrum ranged from care, therapy and rescue professions to mechatronics, electrics, plant mechanics and welding through to professions in the catering industry such as chef and hotel and restaurant specialist.
A great experience that required a lot of preparation and commitment on the part of the companies - and in which, above all, a lot of love for the profession and for their own company was noticeable.
