"What a great event - I got autographs straight away," said a pupil from Orientierungsstufe 5 on 11.02.2025. On this day, the Plauen Zwickau Theatre Orchestra - the "Clara Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra" under the direction of Michael Konstantin - came to the IOM building for a wonderful concert of film music. An hour that all the children and teachers will not soon forget. Enchanting melodies from some 50 musicians resounded in the gymnasium. The pupils listened spellbound. The effect of this music was explained in a short play performed by two actors. Breathtaking, with many goosebump moments, everyone was still raving days later and looking forward to welcoming this orchestra again next year - a wonderful opportunity offered by the theater. The pupils from the orientation level even had an extra lesson with a violinist and a double bass player from the orchestra, where no questions about the string instruments were left unanswered.
