From 02.- 05.05.2023 it meant for the class 10 of the International Secondary School Meerane for the last time: Class trip!!!

By train we went to the Golden City of Prague. After the rooms in the hostel were occupied, all start together into the center and explored it on their own. The next morning a guide accompanied us to some historically significant and worth seeing places. We started in the Wallenstein Garden, where a white peacock attracted our attention. Then the tour took us through Prague's Lesser Town, past the John Lennon Wall, across Charles Bridge and back to the Old Town. Along the way, we learned a lot about the city, its history and sights during small stops. The second part of the day was free and was used individually for an extensive shopping tour. In the evening we met for dinner at the Hard Rock Café.

On Thursday, Prague Castle was our first destination. In addition to strolling around the spacious grounds, we were able to watch the changing of the guards and, of course, take a look over the city. The view was really fantastic. The German Embassy was also easy to spot.

The rest of the afternoon was free for everyone to do as they pleased, for example, to stroll through the streets or along the Vltava River, to do some last-minute shopping, or to simply enjoy the beautiful weather, lounge around, and chat. The girls set off again in the evening to Petrin, from where you can see Prague at night at your feet.

Unfortunately, time flew by and we had to start our return journey on Friday. But surely the days in Prague will remain in everyone's memory for a long time.
