Safety first - by bike to school

A roadworthy bicycle is just as important as a safe riding style and reaction distance + braking distance = stopping distance
Our 5th graders learned this and many other important things about road traffic at our annual ADAC road safety day.
Various skills were tested on a course, such as driving over a narrow board, driving with one hand, negotiating a bend or braking sharply.
The focus was on error-free driving as well as speed. The best riders were awarded a medal.
It was a great day for everyone.
