During the last week of school, we embarked on an exciting trip to Prague. From historical sights to unique cultural experiences, we were lucky enough to enjoy a variety of activities that left us with lasting memories and smiles on our faces.
Our first highlight was a city tour through the charming streets of Prague. We learned a lot about the history, architecture and culture of this wonderful city. Some were now "hungry for more" and so the visit to Prague Castle could not be missed.
Speaking of hunger, it couldn't really arise: There were sweet treats on every corner, whether the traditional trdelník or a colorful bag full of candies, gumdrops and chocolate chips from the candy store. One or the other also polished off a hearty portion of goulash with dumplings.
A visit to the "Museum of the Senses" was also a special experience. There we were taken on a journey through our senses. From interactive exhibitions to optical illusions, this museum was a real treat for our senses. We learned so many new things and had a lot of fun at the same time!
The last evening was another stylish one. We went to the black light theater "WOW" in a chic outfit ("Mrs. K., what do you mean by appropriate clothing?"). We were whisked away to another world with a unique stage show.
We combined the return trip with a visit to the Terezín fortress and ghetto. Although it was a historical place that confronted us with a tragic past, this visit gave us the opportunity to learn more about history and tolerance. It was an important and lasting experience.
